‘Young CITOI’ is a monthly prayer meeting for those in their twenties and thirties where we meet informally to chat and pray specifically into our work situations.
The group has been running since June 2013 and meets one Saturday morning per month, usually at Flat 1, 498 Union St, Aberdeen.
The primary purpose is to meet together to pray for our workplaces and witness and for God to move in our industry, one that has real need for the Lord.
We find that the more we pray, the more opportunities for witness arise, and the more stories we end up sharing of what God is doing! The meeting usually lasts about 90 minutes and is split 50/50 between chat and prayer.
We also take part in wider CITOI activities such as the quarterly events, which are good for networking with other Christians in the oil industry.
